Dimensions
The package calculates the number of screens you need for your garden fence. However, this does not mean that you have no control over the height and width of the bamboo fence panels.
Height
You can choose between 90 cm, 100 cm, 125 cm, 180 cm or 200 cm. The most popular options are 180 cm and 200 cm. At these heights, your garden is well closed off, because two garden screens are stacked on top of each other.
Width
You can choose between 180 cm, 200 cm or 250 cm. All three screens are equally sturdy and last equally long. The difference is in what you like and the price. For a large fence, a wide screen can be cheaper, as you need fewer posts. A wider screen does not always mean a better price. Therefore, enter the dimensions of your fence and test it in our configurator.
Corten steel or galvanised?
You can also personalize your bamboo fence in the treatment of the steel. You can choose between galvanised or corten steel. This concerns the steel frame of the bamboo fence panels. At Fenceonline we only offer high quality products. This means that there is no difference in the lifespan of galvanised and corten steel. Galvanised has a smooth silver coloured appearance, a popular choice for a modern look. Corten steel is warm and dark in colour, a popular choice for garden lovers who want to create a bit more atmosphere. The choice depends entirely on your taste.
Type of post
You can choose from four different posts: a galvanised profile, an untreated IPE profile, a treated IPE profile or a hardwood post. The IPE profile and the hardwood post are the strongest posts and will therefore last the longest. In the IPE profile you have the choice between treated or untreated. Both versions look the same at first. At first, both posts have a silver coloured smooth finish. You will only notice the difference after a few weeks. The outer layer of the untreated pole will rust over time. This gives a dark warm look. The rust is only on the outer layer, so it does not affect the strength of the metal. The galvanised option will keep the same colour. The untreated pole is often chosen with the corten steel frame.
