The Ø 8/6/8 Twin wire mesh fence panels have wires with a diameter of 8 and 6 millimetres. The most commonly used variant for the garden of residential homes is the Ø 6/5/6 variant. The more robust Ø 8/6/8 variant is often used on business premises and along the railway, for example.
Height of the twin wire mesh fence
The next choice you need to make in the tool is the height of your fencing. We have all available heights in stock in our warehouse. The twin wire mesh fence panels are available from 60 cm to a height of 240 cm. From 60 cm, the height increases in steps of 20 cm. The rectangular post with decorative bracket is a similar fencing system to the round post with long lip bracket. With this option you get a rectangular post with a bracket that is mounted around the post. This post with bracket can be mounted on our "smooth" 6 x 4 cm post and this makes this bracket extremely suitable for absorbing height differences in your garden.
Rectangular post with cover plate
This post has pre-assembled mounting blocks on the fence post. A big advantage when mounting is that the mounting for the fence panels double rod mat is already attached to the posts. What you still have to do is mount the cover plate for the fence. You do this with the supplied Allen bolts.
Rectangular post with cover metal flat strip
A next option in The twin wire mesh fence configurator is the rectangular post with smooth cover metal flat strip. The list is mounted on the post, where the two fence panels meet. You can use the list to neatly finish this "gap". The list is as long as the fence is high and is attached with Allen bolts. The list is of course exactly the same colour as the bar fence and the posts.
Rectangular post with cover metal profile strip
A variant that resembles the post described above is the post with profile cover list a cover list variant on the smooth version described above but with a beautiful profile in the list. The post is otherwise identical, the choice is of course up to you.
Post caps of your choice
The combination of post and bracket partly determines which post caps can be chosen for the post. A round post is of course equipped with a round cap. The plastic caps are almost naturally black in colour. With the aluminium caps you have more choice. We supply these in the same colour as the fence and the associated steel post. We have the aluminium caps in the colours black, green, anthracite and uncoated galvanised. A post cap is not only functional the rain does not enter the post, which extends the lifespan of the post it also literally provides the finishing touch to your entire fence.
Dimensions of the fence
It is of course important to fill in the dimensions of the fence you enter this as a unit "metre". You first choose the situation that applies to your garden. For example, do you have 1 corner and 2 sides? Or is your garden with the neighbours 1 straight line without a corner? Once you have made this choice, you simply enter the number of metres. Do this accurately of course, however, in most cases it does not amount to 1 cm. Why? Our loose twin wire mesh fences have a width of 2.5 metres. If you need 12 metres of fencing, you must order 5 fence panels. And therefore 1 panel must be shortened with this you have actually ordered 0.5 meters extra.
So: by entering the number of meters, our tool automatically calculates how many fences and posts you need.
Add gate
If you also want a gate in your fence, you can also order this immediately in the fence configurator. You can choose from all the gate variants that we have to offer. We supply the gate in the same colour and height as the fence. We also supply the products to attach any fencing to the gate.
Installation in the ground?
A fence must be mounted firmly to prevent it from becoming crooked or even falling over if you lean against it, for example. If you install your fence in the ground, you can reinforce it with quick setting concrete mortar. Our mortar has a drying time of approximately 10 minutes. If you install The twin wire mesh fence panels on a wall, you will probably need base plates for a proper placement of the fences. By the way, we supply the posts with "normal length", so for mounting in the ground. You need to mount them on base plates; the post itself needs to be shortened.
