Metal garden posts, post round | Ø 60 x 1.75 mm
Various products are required for installing a fence. In addition to a metal fence panel, such as a twin wire mesh, and mounting brackets, you need a post. In addition to the rectangular 60x40 post, we also have round metal posts at Fenceonline. We have the round posts in a number of different colours. We sell the round metal posts in the colours black (RAL 9005), green (RAL 6009) and in the colour grey (RAL 7016). We also have the round metal post in a thermally galvanised version. In this way, the round metal post can be matched to the colour of the double rod mats.
The round posts are durable and sturdy so that the mounted fence is stable as soon as it is mounted. The metal post has undergone a double treatment: the metal post is galvanised and then finished with a coating in the above colours. The zinc layer under the powder coating ensures that no rust formation occurs on the round post, even in the event of minor damage. In case of minor scratches or light damage, the round metal post can be touched up with a spray can of paint.
The round metal posts are suitable for various types of fencing. For example, the Twin wire mesh 6/5/6 with a width of 2 or 2.5 metres can be mounted on the round posts. The 8/6/8 variant is also extremely suitable for mounting on the round posts. For a sturdy result, the round post must be driven into the ground (with a so-called post driver) or dug out about 80 centimetres.
There may be situations when the ground does not allow the round posts to be dug into the ground. For example, on an asphalted terrain or at a house with a terrace. In such places we have another solution for attaching the round posts, a metal base plate ( Post anchors ). In this case, the metal posts must be selected in the height of the fencing. The base plates for the round metal posts are also available in the colours black, grey and green. The fence panels are attached to the metal posts using long-lip brackets. Long-lip brackets fit exactly around the round metal post for a tight and sturdy result.
We have three different types of long-lip brackets in our range for the metal posts:
- Intermediate bracket: attachment of the round post between two fencing panels
- End bracket: attachment of the fencing panel to the round end post
- Corner bracket: attachment of the fencing panel in a corner
- The long-lip brackets are available in the well-known colours and the thermally galvanised version. The round post is finished with a cap or cap with hook.
For extra strength, the round post can be secured with our concrete mortar or the Quick-setting concrete version. This gives the round post and therefore the metal fences ultimate strength. Not only after installation, but also in the years thereafter.
