The gate posts included with this gate are 80 cm longer than the gate height, allowing for a deep and stable installation in the ground. For long-term stability, we recommend setting the posts in quick-setting concrete from Fenceonline. The gate posts measure 60 x 60 mm and are made of 2 mm thick steel.
After production, the gate undergoes a hot-dip galvanisation process in a zinc bath. Following this, it is fully powder-coated for extra durability. Finally, the post caps, aluminum lock case, strike lock and door handle are added. This process minimises the risk of rust and provides optimal protection against weather conditions, ensuring high steel quality and long-lasting durability. The hydraulic gate closer is only compatible with the 100 cm wide gate and is therefore not suitable for the 125 cm and 150 cm wide gates.
The twin wire mesh infill provides high visibility. If you prefer more privacy, you can install privacy slats from Fenceonline by weaving them between the mesh panels. Use the Fenceonline clips to secure the ends, creating a fully enclosed gate.
Dimensions of the professional single garden gate
The professional single garden gates are available in three widths: 100 cm, 125 cm and 150 cm.
For the 125 cm wide gate, the key measurements are:
- 117 cm – Gate wing width
- 119 cm – Passage width between the posts (accounting for the strike lock, which slightly reduces the clearance)
- 137 cm – Total width of the opening, including the posts
- 6 cm – Width per post
