3-wire barbed wire holders

There are different types of barbed wire holders, depending on how many wires you want to use. The 3-wire barbed wire holder is the strongest. This combines three barbed wires, making the barrier higher and more difficult to pass. We sell this type the most, because it offers the best protection.

Straight or slanted?

There are two types of barbed wire holders: slanted and straight. The slanted version offers the best protection, because it is more difficult to climb over. Intruders must first get around the overhanging barbed wire, which is difficult.

The straight variant is also a good option and often cheaper, especially for larger numbers. Your terrain is also well protected with straight holders.

Installing Barbed Wire on Wooden Posts

Barbed wire is easy to install on wooden posts. Make sure you have all the necessary materials on hand, such as barbed wire, wooden posts, staples, nails or screws, and a hammer or drill.

Next, you need to determine the height: Decide at what height you want to install the barbed wire. The height will vary depending on your specific needs.

Now it’s time to mark the locations of the posts: Use a tape measure and marking pencil to measure the distances between the posts and mark the locations on the ground where you want to place the wooden posts.

After marking the locations, dig holes for the posts: Use a shovel to dig holes at the marked locations. The depth of the holes should be at least one-third the length of the posts.

Place the posts firmly in the holes: Make sure they are straight and firmly in the ground. You can add some quick-setting cement to the base for stability if necessary.

Next, attach the barbed wire: Start at one of the posts and wrap the barbed wire around the top of the post. Make sure it is pulled tight. Then, attach the barbed wire to the post using staples, nails, or screws.

Tension the barbed wire by stretching it to the next post: Make sure it is tight to prevent sagging. Attach it to the next post in the same manner.

Repeat the process as needed until all posts have the desired number of wires.

Finally, check the tension of the barbed wire: Make sure it is firmly and evenly tensioned between all posts. Adjust the tension as needed by pulling the barbed wire tighter.

Always remember: Safety first! Be careful when working with barbed wire to avoid injury. Wear gloves and avoid sharp edges.

By following these steps carefully, you will be able to safely and effectively install barbed wire on wooden posts.
