We aim to make things as easy as possible for you. This way, you can install your own steel gabion fences with relative ease. To install the gabion fences, you’ll need posts. The twin wire mesh fence panels can then be hung on the posts. The posts must be placed 60 cm into the ground and can be reinforced in the ground with concrete mortar or quick-set concrete.
To prevent the fence from bulging under the weight of the stones, you should use spacers. These keep both sides of the gabion fence firmly together.

Posts installation
The gabion fence posts come with a standard extension of 60 cm. This extension ensures that the posts can be installed deeply and securely in the ground. It is also possible to install the posts by digging a hole with a post hole earth auger or spade. When using an earth auger or spade, it is important to secure the posts in the ground with quick-set concrete or concrete mortar. These reinforcing products ensure that the post is firmly anchored and will not sink over time. This ensures that the gabion fencing retains its stability.
